Ghost Hunters was the top watched Paranormal out there and the show that helped open up a Genre of Television shows covering the creepy, Scary and bizarre activity of endless locations over its 12 year run.
Ghost Hunters helped to push the Syfy channel into the top 10 watched Channels on Wednesday night Cable and aired and is still airing in more than 150 Countries around the Globe.
The Series premiered on October 6, 2004, on Syfy (previously the Sci Fi Channel) and ran until October 26, 2016.
The program features Paranormal investigators Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson, Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango and numerous others that work with T.A.P.S and investigate places that are reported to be haunted.
Reports state they average over 1000 Case requests per day.
To handle this Case load they have created a vast Network of other Paranormal Teams around the World that they work closely with to help People all thru out the World in need of assistance. This Network is called The TAPS Family.

In June 2016, Jason Hawes announced that Ghost Hunters would be ending their relationship with the SyFy channel at the conclusion of its eleventh season which aired later that year.
